Ok, took the plunge and bought Prepar3D for $49. If you have and are happy with FSX, as far as I can tell at this point, you dont need Prepar3D. Everything I can see is very much like FSX. Which makes sense since this really is FSX from all I have been told. What is interesting about it is you get several Lockheed Constellations , and a mini sub. Installation is not what you might be use to so be sure to read the instructions or it will not work. I have only had it for one day. However , at this point I dont see a reason to switch from FSX to this. If I find one I will post. From all I can see its the same program with a different splash screen and a different selection of aircraft. Not saying its worse than or better than FSX, just saying if you have FSX there just isnt a reason to switch at this point.
