    Tom,
Everything looks good except..............the Ryanair name on the side.

    I have concerns:
Will it have crew seats or will you have to bring your own? And you'll probably have to pay to check them in! And will they charge you whenever you want to use it?

Will you have access to a free toilet? Does it have an emergency exit if something goes wrong - you'll probably have to pay extra for that too.

I think that you need to read the small print and have your wallet with you before you open that door.

Good luck to you Tom, and best wishes to you in your career. I fly a lot (as a passenger) and I'll listen out for your name.

    best regards

    John

    Tom:

Thanks for sharing news about this upcoming advanture. It will be great (later) to hear some candid thoughts of comparision about our simulator here and the real simulator....(that too for the ever popular 737NG). Good luck with it.

    @ John:

Regarding Ryanair, here is a related newspiece:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...se-toilet.html

It appears, however, an unnamed regulator has thwarted the idea of running test flights with the standing seats. So, you don't have to worry.....

Oh yes, they ofer cheap flights for 50p altright, but than you have to pay additional £15 to pay by any means and another £15 to pay by credit card, plus another £20 for a boarding pass, £25 to take any luggage and another £25 for a seat.

On top of that, their check instaff are on commission for evey penny they can make from overweight baggage, so if your bag is 500 grammes overweight, that will cost you another £50 plus a host of other extra charges. So that 50p flight usually endds up costing £150

edit. ps, I forgot the speedy boarding ticket they sell to half of those on the flight as well (making it a completely useless waste of money).

People can say what they like about Ryanair - I'm well aware that they are not an easy airline to travel with, particularly for those that haven't travelled with them before. But hell I'm not sat in the back! I get paid well and get to fly one of the most modern aircraft out there, for an airline with the youngest fleet age (just over three years old). Not to mention opportunities at over 50 European bases. Happy days!
