Lots of aircraft have only a 3D panel these days - I actually prefer the 3D panel because the view is often better through the windshield and it's easier to look where you want using the hatswitch on the controller. However I admit to wishing developers would include the quick clicks on the 3D panel to such things as map and GPS etc.

I agree...2D panel is so last Tuesday. Now that all the buttons and switches work in 3D it's definitely the way to go. Try it with TrackIR...amazing!!

Yep. Chalk me up as another that used to only want 2D. But that was back in the early '00s with FS 2002 and previous (and especially with excellent 2D panel payware like 767 PIC). When FS9 came out and more an more support for virtual cockpits became better and better as did resolutions (even with the default aircraft), I stopped using 2D panels altogether. Developers began realizing you cannot cram all those gadgets in a 1280x1024 or even 1680x1050 2D bitmap panel template.

Anyone still holding on to that 30 year old graphics technology that dates back to FS1 is going to continue to get left behind as we move forward with virtual cockpits. Panning around in my Pilatus PC-12 or 757 Captain cockpit and hitting buttons to fly is the greatest FS experience to date. Get used to it folks. We're not going backwards.

For the price, the overall quality of this model is low very low, there are other (HD) models in the same price range that are far more accurate or realistic.

I agree the model is not very detailed for the price. I bought the carenado pa-46 turboprop and from what I can see it is miles ahead of this one, imo
