Default Need help setting up 3 27" monitors @ 5760x1080 resolution

How do you set up three monitors in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit for 5760x1080 resolution? I just bought three Samsung SA550 1920x1080 27" monitors. I have been using Matrox TripleHead2Go Analog to run three 19" monitors. The screen resolution has been 3840x1024. I am now running the three 27" monitors with the Matrox TripleHead2Go and there isn't a screen resolution in the drop down menu to run my three monitors @ 5760x1080. The only setting available is the old 3840x1024. I have an nVidia GeForce GTX 580 video card, Intel 970 6 core 3.2 Ghz CPU, Asus P6X58D-E motherboard, 250GB solid state hard drive, and 24 GB of DDR2 RAM.

Running the three monitors at 3840x1024 gives a rather distorted view in FSX. Is there any way to fix this?

Looks like the TH2Go Analog only supports up to 3840x1024 with 3 monitors.

You need to look into either the TH2Go Digital or DisplayPort models, or at Nvidia's Surround feature of their GeForce 500 series GPUs.

Is it possible to set up these three monitors using the two DVI ports and the one HDMI port that are located on my GTX 580 and still attain 5760x1080P resolution? Has anyone done this?

You need to check the documentation for your video card. Often they only one to use 2 out of multiple DVI/HDMI ports. Also, check out the Nvidia link I posted above. It covers your question.

Yes, it is possible with Nvidia hardware.

Why are you upset with MS? It is up the video card manufacturers to write the video drivers and support their hardware, not Microsoft.

    Default 3 monitors A/Q

i have a xfx 6850 card , and to get 3 monitors working you must use 1 of them in the display port with an ACTIVE adapter if you are using an adapter, MAKE SURE ITS AN "ACTIVE MODEL: they look just like none active ones but they say ACTIVE,

that being said any one know how to set it up so you have 3 monitors but each one has a different view (ie left mntr sees out of window to the left and same for right side mntr and center has front view and instruments )
    Thanks !
