    Hi Guys, I am looking for an explanation of the ils id terms

    IJS, INV, IYZ, IRW, ILE, ILP, ITO, ICV, IDP any ideas ??

    I might be wrong but I think those are the ID of the ILS. I think each ILS has its own ID beacause in some cases the airports have several ILS, so they can differentiate one from the other? Hope it helps.

    Where are you seeing those terms? On your screen in FSX? Whereabouts?

    Most of those are ILS at Toronto/L.B. Pearson International airport. Each ILS has its own identifier so you can tell if you are tuned into the right one. If you turn into the ILS and then enable the audio you can hear Morse code for the ILS identifier which you then compare with your charts to confirm you have tuned the correct one.
