Default Starting Left Engine on Carenado Beech Air C90B

    Helo,
I just recently purchased the Carenado Beech Air C90B which is very nive as far as the graphics and the controls.
But I have a problem where I cannot start the left engine. I have tried everything and looked at varios scenarios and settings but still not successful. When I use the standard Beech Air from MSFS I do not have any problems.
    Can anyone please help?
    Cheers
    Manon

I can only tell you that you start it the same way you started the right one, except use the other (LEFT, Engine #1) "START AND IGNITION" switch. Then move the LEFT condition lever from Cut-Off to Low Idle at about 12% N1 on the left engine.

If that does not work, you made need to un-install and reload the C-90.

The Standard (Default) King Air has nothing at all to do with the C-90, so the fact that you have no problem with it does not mean anything.

The C-90 Sim version is not started the same way the real airplane is, according to a C-90 "real world" Training Manual I have access to, but that should have nothing to do with your problem.

    Regards

Likely the problem is that the sim starts up and loads your "default flight" and your default flight has flags set that tell whichever aircraft in that .FLT file to be 'set' a certain way - a way that doesn't jive with the Carenado's King Air systems.

Search for a "cold and dark" flight in the file library. Download it, install it (as per the readme) then try using the King Air after you've got that "cold and dark" file set as your default flight.

THIS IS ASSUMING YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THE CTRL+E AUTO-START METHOD.
