    Wow, Professor. Very sad news.

I knew those headaches were a major problem, but, I didn't realize that simming was contributing, though. Sorry, so very sorry.

Looking forward to when you pop in with those G5.5 shots.

Keep your chin up, my friend.
    Good Luck for the future...Don

It's a big shame to see you have to give up what you love 'cause of these darn headaches John.
You have a bunch of friends out here on the forums and I hope you'll fight and win from these troubles and than we will see you again here in the future.

    Cheers and take care!!

Good luck, friend. We enjoyed many flights with you in years past on the Multiplayer Adventures Forum. Believe me, some doctor out there has the key to your problem in his pocket. Keep looking and you'll find him.

    Best,

Thank God for the internet because it allows us to look up all sorts of maladies and suggested remedies etc and end up knowing more about them than the doctors..
PS- I've been a migraine sufferer for many years (flashing lights across the field of vision followed by a splitting headache), but luckily a couple of aspirins control the pain well enough.
I've never been able to pin down what triggers them, but I suspect having my monitor and TV screens too bright might have something to do with it, so as a matter of routine I always keep the contrast and brightness turned way down (especially when looking at glaring white web pages) which seems to help.

Enjoy the vacation Johnny. Maybe a change of pace will do you good. You know we'll be here if you want to visit. — Bob

Cool All the Best to Ya!

That sounds like quite an aggravation John.

Maybe a break from the "action" is all you'll need ... we'll be here when you get "well".

    All the Best to Ya!

I still remember ... seven or eight years ago it's been now ... us flying into Nassau for the Multiplayer Adventures Forum event there .... a speedboat race of all things.

You departed Rhode Island and I took off from Norfolk, Va shortly after for a rendezvous somewhere over the North Carolina coast ... then we flew down to meet the others.

There were a few other events too as I recall .... boy the roster has sure changed over the years.

Thinking this could just be payback for all the yakity - yakin' you did in the events back then ... hahaha ... you'll be fine in a little while my old friend!

Take care John ... you know none of us are that hard to find if you need anything.

    Warm regards,

I'll miss your screenshots, John! But with your headaches, it seems that there's no solution for now...
When you go away, one of the "old stones" has gone to sand...
However, I'll hope to see some screens, even if you do not post much then. Only to know that you're alive...
    Best Regards

When I was away from FS because I was too busy I would dream of the flights I used to do and wish I were simming, if I had time. Perhaps after a while you'll also be dreaming of FSX and come back.

Today I went past KBFI on the bus on the way to pick up my car (Batmobile), I saw 787's, 737's. a 757, and a taxiing Virgin maybe it was a 737. Right then I wanted to be back simming flying heavy metal.

We'll miss you. Take care of yourself, and enjoy a good movie for me. You've seen so many not sure if I can suggest any, these were fun, "Evolution", "Best Defense", "Where Eagles Dare", have you seen "Kelly's Heroes"? I tried to reach back to the oldies because you've probably seen all the new ones. You've probably seen "A Team". Have you seen this real oldie, "To Have and Have Not" one of the best Bogie movies.
