    Post Red interior (cockpit) lighting.

    Hey, all.

    Is there a way to change the interior night lighting in the cockpit of a given airplane to "nighteye red" (or just red), for easier out-of-the cockpit viewing? If so, how can I do it, and what would I need to do? Any helpful info would be appreciated.

    Very easy. In the panel.cfg find an entry similar to this:

    [Color]
    Day=55,55,55
    Night=255,0,0
    Luminous=127,0,0

    The 255,0,0 gives you pure red nightlighting. Here is the default Boeing 737-400 cockpit as it appears at night (image JPGd and greatly shrunk for compactness). Uhh, the panel as it appears in FS looks quite bright, nowhere near as dark as this image does.

    Thank you, sir, I'll give it a try.
