Is there a place where I can get multiplayer traffic?

Sure, a couple ways:

1. On the Map screen, click Multiplayer -- then click [Quick Match] to join a random public session.
2. Also under Multiplayer -- click [Settings] if you want to make your own session public.
3. Press the <Home> key, click on [Players] then select a player who is in-game. You can join them if the [Join Session In Progress] button is visible.
