    Default Ercoupe Flying in Oregon

    This is Microsoft FS2004.

Last week on Thursday, May 10th 2012, I went flying in the Portland area. I used the ASE weather software and "real-time" online updates. My airplane of choice on this beautiful spring day was the ERCO Ercoupe. With it's bubble canopy and great handling qualities, the day's flight promised to be a wonderful adventure. It reality, the flight was absolutely spectacular! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

I was spellbound inside the Ercoupe's canopy as I flew over the beautiful city of Portland.
I've never seen the FS9 weather so vividly spectacular ~ it was like a candy shop!

Honestly... WHY would I want to hassle with FSX when I can fly in FS9 with "silky smooth" frame rates of 70+ with views like this? I am really enjoying my new system! It has completely recreated my FS9 world.

Heading out towards Tillamook and the Apply Valley Airport. This little lonely cloud reminds me of the "Energizer Bunny"

I traded the Ercoupe for a sleek ride back to Portland... the Bellanca Viking. This is one sweeeeet airplane!

    Thanks for viewing.

@ Peter Thanks buddy! No matter how much money I spend on FSX (and it is well over $400.00 so far) it still does NOT replace the enjoyment I get from my FS2004. It is liquid smooth now with my new system. I can throw anything @ it and it never thinks twice about it. I love it!!!
FSX... no so much. The more intensive scenery I install, the more it seems uncertain and the longer it takes to get into the air with all of the processes needed to make it look amazing.

    Hahahaha @ Gary
No sir, it was purely an accident I assure you. I flew my flight on May 10th a week ago, but haven't gotten the pictures uploaded until last night. I thought it was so funny that you had just posted your FSX version of flying in Oregon with a Ercoupe. I really like that plane and will have to download myself a copy of it this weekend.

Thank you Rory for the compliment. Yes sir, it should work for FS2002. (I haven't tried it yet though as I don't have FS2002 loaded on my system)

    The file name is: erco_415.zip

    It was designed for FS2002/FS2004
