I've just installed avalon2.zip by Ron Ezra and his companion aval-dyn.zip dynamic scenery. However, I like to separate my scenery by real vs. fictional and current (post-2000 or so) vs. past. I like the dynamic scenery but the Spruce Goose doesn't belong and gets in the way when I want to take a seaplane out of Long Beach. (I know, technically the Grumman Goose doesn't belong either since Catalina Airlines is defunct, but if you ignore the livery it's still possible that someone could fly a Goose to Avalon harbor.)
I tried decompiling the CatalinaDyn.bgl file with BGLAnalyze 3.1, removing the lines pertaining to the Spruce Goose and making a few other minor fixes, then reassembling with SCASM 2.96. But that breaks the dynamics, and I can't figure out what I've done wrong or missed. In my recompiled scenery, the moving objects still appear but they either freeze or move in a straight line out of the area and disappear.
Is there a known problem with either of these programs, or some other tool(s) I should be using instead?
