    Unhappy Stall warning!

Judging by the lack of activity in this forum lately, I'd say most people have wrung the Flight sponge dry.
Microsoft would be wise to keep the DLC stream flowing. The initial momentum has slowed to near stall.
MS had better kick the rudder before Flight goes into a tail slide. Another decent (complete) aircraft, some new
challenges, missions... we need something here! — Bob

Why not just start a thread demanding Alaska now. Isn't that what you are really complaining about, there are obviously products in the pipeline. And two planes released since launch. And the activity in this forum doesn't represent the entire demographic. There's a lot of older people on these forums that don't represent the console or age demographic of your typical gamer.

Fair enough, but I don't really want Alaska now. And I certainly don't want it rushed out until it's ready. I think what I'm trying to say is, a steadier stream of incremental add-ons, might maintain interest more than large, infrequent ones. Flightsimmers are used to a pretty regular supply of new add-ons on a daily basis, both free and payware; not to mention the nearly infinite catalog of past product. I know we're not the primary market in this case. I'm just expressing my very biased opinion. — Bob

Well that's the thing I'm pretty sure they know we want guages. But if we're 10% of the market and they have absolutely no information on 90% playing around with price points is normal. Remember even PMDG has sold just an "external" model. I guess it comes down to that its a seperate set of skills. At their level you can't be both the modeller and the guage programmer, you have to choose one career path

would be awesome if the hint for the next warbird was an altimeter.

Because the present MSFlight leadership lacks creativity for capturing the fantasy market it apparently desires, screwing the pooch will be par for the course in the foreseeable future.

    Little hint Joshua ...

    DLC + customer = $$$
    customer + More DLC = more $$$
No DLC + customer = fail

When the going gets weird the weird turn pro. (HST)
Welcome to waiting for a pro to show up, which can be a little time consuming. Let us hope the MSFlight Design Leader position recently advertised gets filled by someone with more than winded pontifications and fantasy dream schemes.

If the fantasy market means running at 30FPS+ Vsync...you know like the real-time requirements of an actual simulator. FSX is and always will be a filght simulator app, best effort. So increasing the overall market that way probably makes up for it.

What level is that? Overpaid wannabes?
They already have the Pre-War gauges in the Stearman, Post-War in the Van's and Maule, so modeling a cockpit, even a very simple one, using basic variations on those, to include a modicum of realism would be very, very, easy.

Today's freeware modelers for other venues can knock out highly detailed, fully functional planes, in a year or less.
Single handed. Part Time. They carry on full time employment, and family life too, so, quit making excuses for the MS Flight team.

Plenty of folks, including myself, gave Flight every possible chance. Right now I'll continue to put my pennies in the FSX Cookie Jar.

It's time MS cracked the throttle, pushed the nose down, and recovered from, what Bob so aptly named, a stall...Don

Sure lets go back to 1998 while we're at it.. Oh and you know what lets ignore 12 years of hardware development at the same time. Then we can talk about how even an i7 at 5ghz can't maintain a stutter free session.. and lets blame it on the CPU even though Flight obviously proves that was never the problem...but the sloppy code that FSX developers are still so proud to build on God when you look at the millions of people now using P3D microsoft is sure full of knuckleheads

Crabs, your spin fails on so many levels. Picking up this book may help you with your agenda.

Just an FYI, changing the words I say, or going off topic, doesn't work for me. If you care to discuss how crappy the game design in Flight is compared to what it could be, lets talk (in a new thread, not this one). Otherwise ...., because you're boring me. Much like the game of "Shoot thy foot" MSFlight has become.
