Its been defraggi since 14:15... its now 20:22 and i haven't made much progress... it has defragged only 5% so far.

Wait until you see that this isn't even going to fix your error.

I don't understa instrustion three in the four line guide as if you rebuild your FS.9 CFG the setting will have gone back to default anyway

Defragging does take forever but only moves things arround to maximise diskspace and does nothing to remove something that should not be there nor does it repair any faulty elements...it's just tidying everything up.

Ok, deffragler did make things much, much faster and the error appears less often. I managed to do a Barcelona-Singapore Flight without problems, so things are getting better.
