    The Yorks were built using surplus parts of WW2 bombers, the whole wingsection including the RR engines were from the Lancaster bomber. There was an urgent need for civil planes immediately after the war.

    Your airplane is a real beauty Jan, and I enjoyed every single picture. You have some incredible sunset views. I need to try this aircraft out for myself.

    It's a 2004 plane Glenn, so if you want to use it in FSX you have to add a decent FSX panel. I use the FSX JBK Canadair panel, has the same RR Merlin engines. Thanks!

    Well... I was actually kinda thinking about using it in FS2004, so that will actually work out perfectly. I'll post some pictures of it when I do.

    Superb job showing the Avro York Jan, that is one good looking machine.
