The Yorks were built using surplus parts of WW2 bombers, the whole wingsection including the RR engines were from the Lancaster bomber. There was an urgent need for civil planes immediately after the war.

It's a 2004 plane Glenn, so if you want to use it in FSX you have to add a decent FSX panel. I use the FSX JBK Canadair panel, has the same RR Merlin engines. Thanks!![]()
