For those who still are not aware, this has all along been part of the Microsoft Flight marketing plan.

There will be two types of planes released. One will be lower cost planes that have no cockpit. The other will be higher cost planes that do have a cockpit. You're going to see this over and over as long as Flight is being supported so you might as well get used to it and stop the rants.
