Newbie problem

I recently installed Beech_P35.zip into FSX Sp2 and decided to "build" a 2D cockpit.I adjusted the viewpoint in the virtual cockpit and took a photo of the view.In Paint I blacked out the windows and with the following lines in the panel cfg. I have a useable 2D panel.The gauges I just copy,paste and adjust from the VC.

My problem is that the view outside of the 2D panel has been compressed to the top half of the screen and the bottom half is black.I can drag it down but I'd have to do it every time.I,ve tried removing the window_size_ratio line but that has no effect.What has happened and how do I fix it? I want to stress that I'm doing this for my own enjoyment and do not intend to package or distribute it.Thanx in advance.

In the 'panel.cfg' file ensure the 'SIZE Y' entry, usually the last, is sufficienly large

I want to stress that I'm doing this for my own enjoyment and do not intend to package or distribute it.

The 2D is entirely your creation, so by all means, if you want to share it, go for it. Include your own bitmap and revised panel.cfg, nothing else. If it requires gauges or other objects for completion, include the source(s) in your readme...Don

Thank You Ted! Problem solved.And Thank You Don,I will consider packaging this for public consumption.I can always count on the flight sim community to solve or at least reply to my problems.
