I'm going crazy..

Today, I started a flight from ELLX to LOWI with my beloved 737 NGX. Just before reaching the RTT NDB, FSX crashed, error cause: g3d.dll. Tried a second flight, BOOM FSX crashed, g3d.dll...
Searched for a fix, found a cfg entry that apparently solved it. Thought myself 'OK can I fly now without another f****** CTD? Of course not...Third try, before the approach at LOWI crash to desktop...reason: d3d9.dll. (ENB mod GTA version) That's the point where I'm heavily pissed off right now. Isn't there another ENB out there that doesn't cause instant crashes???? Several hours of my lifetime wasted because of this, seriously until now I had more crashes than successfull flights and this is totally ruining the sim for me...

Solution without going totally crazy:

Go to Avsim.com and register.

As I said, the g3d.dll error is solved. I have Rex + overdrive, utx europe, gex europe, approaching Innsbruck, Luxembourg airports, pmdg 737 ngx, enb bloom mod (gta version) installed. The problem is likely coming from the enb mod, since FSX always crashes when this is installed and always when flying the ngx. I googled for a solution but couldn't find one. And yes, I do want to keep the bloom effect..

If you want that particular bloom, then you'll need to put up with the crashes. It looks like that EMB is incompatible with your system.

There really is no other ENB out there? hmmm

All ENB mods (.dll) work in the same way except that there are several config files floating around.
I suppose since NGX is resource hungry, and ENB is also resource hungry as well, you're system can't cope.
