Thread: Battery cannot be turned off!

  1. Default Battery cannot be turned off!

When I switch on/off, the bat gauges remain same, sound remains same, lightnings remain same...Sometimes when to ON,it sounds the battery-revving but that's all...
I tried any config, cold and dark to ready for takeoff but both don't let me... Am I doing something wrong,or what can I do to solve it?

I assume all three engines are not running & no APU is connected. When you turn the battery switch to the off position be sure that the DC meters selector (the black rotory knob right next to the battery switch) is in any position except "BAT". If the DC meters selector is placed to Ess TR, TR1 or TR2 you should see the battery volts drop to zero. Even though you have everything turned off including the battery, the battery will still supply power to some hot busses and show it's battery volts if that switch is left in the "BAT" position. Only when switched to any of the other 3 positions will the battery really be turned off. Same holds true for the real airplane. Hope this helps you
