CDI problem

Sirs: have there been any software complaints about flight simulator gold, I purchased
one about a month ago and as a licensed private pilot I know how the CDI instrument
in the Garmin 1000 GPS should work in an ILS approach to the airport. Very simple
you fly to the deflected needle on the instrument untill it's lined up on center. But
on my home town airport you must fly away from the needle to line up to center
this is VERY WRONG AND BACKWARDS as to how it works. Is there a fix or did I
get a bad version ? any ideas ? or who can I contact at Microsoft ? thanks Ken

Try flying the other end of the runway. It sounds like it is a backcourse. I am going to hazard a guess and say that the glideslope on the approach you are attempting doesn't work as well.

A simple tutorial for backcourses.

But before you say, "In the RW, the ILS is on such-and-such runway." It may very well be possible that MS put the ILS on the wrong runway for the airport in question.
