Thread: Help Needed for VC

  1. Default Help Needed for VC

    Hi:
I am new in repainting and installing custom air-crafts. Recently I downloaded Beech 1900D and installed it. It has panel of King Air 350 and panel.cfg reads
    [fltsim]
    alias=BEECH_KING_AIR_350\panel

The problem is it doesn't have VC. I though since panel is taken from King Air it will have VC, but nope.... all it shows is full screen landscape in front of you if I want to view the VC mode. I don't know much technical things... please help...

Further, it will be much appreciated if somebody can help me get a new panel for Beech 1900D with VC.

Thank you for reading and trying to help.

    Prithivi

The VC is part of the aircraft model and can't be aliased to another plane. You'll need to find a Beech 1900 with a VC. (The only one I see in the libraries here with a VC is http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=140005)

There are a couple of payware 1900s; one from Abacus (http://www.abacuspub.com/fsd/catalog/s627.htm.old, only $10 now), and one from PMDG (http://secure.simmarket.com/aerosoft...0c-1900d.phtml).

Thank you jgf. I hope this will work... Appreciate your time for helping me out...

Sad... after downloading I found that even this doesn't have VC. The panel file has the copy of King Air 350 and it is not reading VC.

The P.A.D. Beech 1900C has a VC, http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=156077 and includes passenger and freight models. Go here http://www.premaircraft.com/B1900D_FS9/index.html for the 1900D version.

    Bear in mind

The panel has nothing at all to do with the VC.

As mentioned above the VC is an entirely sperate model and in the case of FS9 is compiled into the main model.

    In FS.X it remains seperate.

When you see instruments and the cockpit details in both VC and panel you are looking at two different sets.

Thanks. I though either PAD or Schupe had made one but my cursory search came up empty.
