FSX Acceleration OOM Error

Hi I am getting an Out of Memory error everytime in any flight right before I line up for landing. I have FSX Acceleration installed. My opperating system is Windows 7 x64 bit. I have 8GB of memory and 2.67 CPU. The fixes that I have tried to fix the problem have not helped and they are: the HIGHMEMFIX=1 in the fsx.cfg, the [BUFFERPOOLS] UsePools=0 in the fsx.cfg, I have also tried to do some virtual memory chagned, but they all do not fix the problem. There are no addons. Please help.

You probably have received an answer by now, but I'll give you one. I ran FSX Deluxe for 3 years using the same high-end scenery I'm using under FSX Acceleration, and I'm getting Out of Memory (OOM) errors on flights despite having all the suggested tweaks. Obviously, Acceleration has additional memory requirements and most likely memory leaks that don't exist in Deluxe. As such, either remove acceleration, or change your slider settings to something less than what Deluxe would use. As for me, I'll be removing Acceleration in the next few days after trying everything under the sun to prevent the errors without having to run lower end graphics.

Wrong ---- don't remove acceleration! . Check the Wikki here on how to fix the OOM errors. You need to enable the large address aware for FSX and then you'll be all set.

You need to enable the large address aware for FSX and then you'll be all set.

FSX SP2 and Acceleration are already large address aware and the 3G switch doesn't apply to 64 bit versions of Windows.
