Flight freezes, then restarts

OK, first off I am not a "Flight hater"!! I am an FSX pilot and see good points for both. I downloaded Flight and flew the Icon all over the Hawaiian chain (Yep, bought the pack). I was able to run with all graphics options on High. Dowloaded the P-51 (Ok No Panel) and flew it all over. Downloaded the Maule and everything went south. ALL aircraft now run anywhere from 10 - 20 seconds the the screen freezes. Hit ESC several times and I am returned to the free flight menu. Any further attempts to fly have the same result, even with graphics LOW and doesn't matter which aircraft. My system still runs FSX as it did before. Suggestions would be appreciated.,.
System Asrock sys board Pentium D 915 (2.8 ghz) 2 GB DDR2 RAM. ATI HD4650 with 1 GB RAM. Not a killer machine but it works (Or worked in the case of Flight)

I don't know at this point but I think that would be a good idea for the Maule at least. Anybody else know ?

I get occasional pauses but have only had one real freeze. I was in multi-player with 14 or 15 people at the time.
Flight is meant to be 'online' all the time. I suspect that's where some of these problems come from.
You might try flying offline (don't sign into LIVE) just to see if the lock-ups persist.
Other than that you might want to try defragmenting. That's all I got for now. Good luck. — Bob

I haven't done a lot of online flying, but when I have... I've had issues. I only use "Flight" offline and it's working flawless so far...

Start Flight.
Let it Load (Press a Key).
Once Loaded, press the "Home" key.

This is the Games for Windows Live interface.
Click your Gamer Profile (left button).
Click Disable Auto signin (bottom right).
Exit the GFWL interface.

You might have a shader cache problem. Unfortunately I am unable to tell you how to rebuild the Flight shader cache at this time. I haven't looked into it yet. A complete GPU driver clean and latest driver install may also resolve your issue.

I also wondered about this myself, so I went in and disabled my online correction and then started up Flight. Ever since I down loaded Flight, it seems to have its share of bugs for me. Twice it has frozen video-wise, sound continued. It has crashed the computer to reboot I would guess appx 10 times. Since I purchased the rest of the Islands I crash to reboot within a minute of flying in the Honolulu area, however with it offline I was able to fly around some and land at PHNL, however after about 10 seconds of taxi I had another video freeze. So disable your online connection and you can fly offline.
