we had a major update of our website during the last weeks to a fresh and stylish look. We are now running for 6 months but unfortunately have very few active members. We had to find out that completely fictive VA`s are having a hard time with attracting people to fly for them. Therefore we decided to have some of our aircraft flying for other "real world" operators on wetlease contracts. We currently have this concept in a trial phase with Jetstar Airways, Thomson Airways and Norwegian Air Shuttle. If you love flight simulation as much as we do and are interested in joining a team that really is trying to create the best atmosphere for it`s members give us a chance and join us. We are always there in the forums to listen to new ideas and help you with problems as much as we can.
Finally again some information about the current setup of the VA:
We operate Passenger and Cargo Flights from Greek Airports with Hubs in Athens, Thessaloniki and Paphos with a modern fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft for medium and long range flights and ATR & F70 on regional flights. Future plans are to also integrate the Avro RJ85 in our regional fleet.
Our new trial phase includes Wet Lease flights (with the respective airlines livery) in Australia (Jetstar), UK (Thomson) and Scandinavia (Norwegian Air Shuttle) based on their real world schedules. (more airlines to come if the trial phase is successful)
Additionally we offer:
- Events (Online VATSIM and Offline)
- Charter Flights
- A custom ACARS
- Nice and Helpful Community in our Forums
- Several Awards
- Landing Contests
- Screenshot Contests
- and much more
we always try to expand the range of our features.
If you want to help out we also have still management positions available...just drop me a email.
I hope some of you find this offer attractive and are going to give us a chance. (I know there are many VA`s out there but we are not one of these VA`s that open up and close the doors again a few weeks later if it`s not as successful as expected just to open up the next VA! We know this is very dissapoiting for all the members that collected their hours and awards and suddenly the site is down. This is not going to happen with us!)
I hope to see some of you soon at http://www.hellenicair.co.nr/. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post.
