Can't get past tutorials

I downloaded MSF but the first issue is that it doesn't appear in my programs list, I have to go into my program files and launch it. Then when it does open my only option seems to be the tutorial I cannot see Free Flight anywhere in the options so I'm stuck flying around balloons. Does Trackir not work with this game? Thanks

Are you on Vista or Windows 7? If you are look in the "Games" area of your Start Menu.

When you finish the first two tutorials as designed, free flight becomes available.

Put the urge to tinker and customise on the back burner and just play along. The end result will be worth the effort.

Thanks for that, I gave up in frustration after the first tutorial. I will look in games and press on. Disappointing about Trackir!

It's two minutes long. I don't undertand how people claim they are happy to fly for 10 hours from LHR to NRT but can't fly a two minute tutorial... Anyway, i couldn't find FLIGHT anywhere but Program Files but after I launched and closed it and restarted the computer, I found it in the Games for Windows interface (it wasn't there before). I have also made a shortcut from the Program Files launcher on the desktop, which I had to do manually in FSX as well.

Don't worry about it. People discover at their own pace for whatever reasons.
