  1. Default can it utilize more than 2 cores?

    How many cores?

Doesn't look like it. Core 0 is used 100%. Rest of them are just sitting there or low usage. Looks like this is FSX. Not even tweaked. I'm surprised by this.

If this is true then the performance enhacements comes from more use of the GPU which FSX doesn't utilize that much.

Probably explains why I get 35-40 FPS in Flight with a basic aircraft in spot view, versus in FSX I get peaks over 100 FPS in spot view of the 737-800 default.

No the performance enhancements mainly come from content control, as it its optimized for the engine... there's no PMDG or McPhat to stick a 4096k texture so it kills performance elsewehere. Nothing to do with cores.

I personally like the look of the new DX guages, definitely a performance gain there but I doubt it adds up to all that much... the RV-6 has a nice polished look to it though as everything is at the resolution it should be.

I see. So FSX can basically get this ultra smooth performance just by loading up the default planes and scenery, because they don't bog down the system like our payware addons do. That makes sense.

    Well Hi
This is all very interesting but I still would like to know if Flight uses more than 2 cores?
That's a YES or NO question.

Wait..This is getting stupid..just forget it.. I have FSX on a high end system and rarely use it.
I still fly FS9 on a XP duel core most of the time.

What! who attacked alaskancrab. I can't see a attack.
