Thread: The answer is very simple .......

Default The answer is very simple .......

First, let me say that I have been simming for many years - ever since the first version for the Apple II+. I also had the opportunity to get some extended experience with MS Flight.

I do not hate it. Neither do I see it (in its current state) as a replacement for FS 2004 or FSX.

The fact (IMHO) is this: MS Flight is for gamers and the gaming audience/market, MSFS is for simmers and the simming audience/market.

It's that simple. You can argue/bash/trash all you want, but it comes down to gaming vs simming.

I will stick to simming, at this point, with occasional flights of "gaming" and wait to see what develops.

As a marketing professnal ( and I am not Microsoft just to be clear ), your description is a very easy to digest assessment for me. I haven't tried Flight yet, but I am about to place an order for a new PC and your description helped me make my decision with focus on FSX and not Flight. Thx.

    Exactly. Well done.
In my opinion, FLIGHT is fun, for now, soon it will be boring and I'll fly perhaps once a week or month. See my thread (called 'my ~ thoughts'), basically a review of FLIGHT without the hate.
