My position on ms flight was negative for the reasons we all know, and i got permanently banned from avsim because i supposedly broke the nda of the beta. What i did was just comment on things that all people could see from the videos. Anyway, i thought i would give it a try now that it has gone public, cause it might be missing a lot of things but it is fun and the visuals are good. So, did the first 2 missions to unlock free flight and multiplayer. Then i went to see what can be purchased. Ok, aside from the fact that things are overpriced (20 euros for the small Hawaian islands) i thought to get the maule since it's payware and see how it goes, it is faster than the 2 default planes also. So i installed it, loaded free flight and started flying. Nice plane, but then i searched for the autopilot, found it, and IT ISN'T CLICKABLE, it's not working. I paid 15 euros for a plane with a non functional autopilot. And guess what, no info is provided by MS for things like that. You see a plane you go purchase it and then you see that half the buttons don't work, and the most important the autopilot!!!
Now, i just saw the thread about the autopilot at the other forum and people are wondering why the heck ms didn''t even implement an autopilot, and moderators that were from the start in favor of Flight warning people not to bash ms Flight. But to the point, what the heck is MS thinking??? I was also about to buy the rest of Hawaian islands and give this sim(?) a break and see what it has to offer, but now, no. I will not spend any more money on something that does not deliver. Even the default planes of fsx had gps and autopilot. Am i supposed to wait for ms to implement an autopilot or whatever stuff all the other flight simulators have? I payed for the freaking plane! But now i see that ms is just trying to make money and nothing more, the prices are too high anyway. So much for Flight being for the harcore simmers too. A purchased plane doesn't even have a working autopilot, only a decorative one. I have no other words.
