Exclamation No. 1 Real Flight Sim Ever

    http://no1realflightsimever.info/

    Thoughts Opinions.....
Anyone ever try it? The way its advertised makes me scared to try it. Like its trying WAY to hard/despertly to get me to buy it. Keeps taling about Real this and that....
Seems like they are hypeing it way more then they would have to if it was a descent product, but Ive never tried it.

Upon Googling the name it would appear to be yet another Flight Gear ploy. Flight Gear is open source and free. This group is selling it.

http://www.flightgear.org/ is the basis for a few Flight Simulators out there. This looks like another.
Flight Gear is free, and Open Source, so creating a sim based on it is perfectly legal.
I personally think it is highly unethical to make money using an application that was created and released to be used freely by all...Don

Wow, what a bargain. They are including the "Airplane Flying Handbook" and the "Pilot's handbook of aeronautical knowledge" as a limited time bonus! Yeah, what they don't tell you is that you can download those books free from the FAA website.
    What a joke.

Do understand that my reply was not intended to pass judgement. I was just telling it like it is.

They claim to have a demo but I can not find it. And yes I have tried flight gear. But all I get is error messages, nothing ever recognizes a joystick as easily as flight sim yada yada. I tend to dislike any flight sim that has a 'debug' button in the tool bar. Am I supposed to fly it or program it?

Yes it is fun to modify flight sim, but I dont have to do it from day one screen one like this other stuff I see out there.

At Age 40 I discovered motorcycles. Flying low?

My correction, FlyLegacy has the 'debug' button. But really I think FlyLegacy and Flightgear are about at the same product level.

Again, the "Pro Flight Simulator" scam...

Free software is better, you can fly with FlightGear or Fly! Legacy:

    http://fly.simvol.org/ (now version 0.6.8)
