Honestly, the FSX SDK works just fine with Windows 7. You need to learn how to take control of your computer. I have all of my development tools (Max9, GMax, Photoshop, et cetera) on three different Win7 computers...

    Hi
Thanks for all the help. I have given up on the SDK (for now) and am currently focusing on repainting aircraft.
I will try to learn more about the SDK and try to take another crack at it down the road.
    Again, thanks for the help.
    Keep on flying

You might see if any of Dave Eckert's repainting tips are still around? He also has or had a website, Daviator.com I think, I don't know if he is still active in this forum, but I have worked with him in the past, and he is not only very talented, but very helpful as well, and a genuinely nice guy!! I am an FDE guy, with no art talent, so I can't help until you get paint applied. Depending on the project, I might be able to help with FDE files after you have completed your repainting?
