I also have had them about 5 years with no problem. The reviews for Saitek are also good so I don't think you would go wrong with either one.
I have a set that is 4yrs. old and they work fine. However, as all my other controler are Saitek , I replaced it. Therefore My CH Rudders are for sale. Send me an e-mail if interested. wrk218@att.net
I have the saitek ones & they are great but I think the ch ones maybe have a heavier base & maybe less inclined to move ,I'm sure others on here maybe able to confirm that theory.
coolermaster haf 922 case,256 gig ssd ,600g vrap, I7 Ivybridge 690i 3770k, o'c 4.5 ghz, prolimatech cpu cooler , asus p8z77v mobo , 16 gb ram ddr 3 @ 2033 ,msi 6970, x fi fatality pro , windows 7 64 bit , fsx acceleration , horizon gen x v3 , rex essentials , saitek x52 pro controllers & rudder.
The CH pedals are heavy and do grip the carpet, but, I did make a stand off to fit between the base board and the pedal base for those aggressive rudder kicks....Don
