    Default Flightdeck

Has anyone heard of a place called flightdeck in Anaheim, CA? I found out about this place today and I guess they let you get in a 737 simulator and teach you how to fly. I was wondering if anyone's has ever been here and what your experiences were? I want to learn how to navigate and fly the plane as if you were a pilot working for an airline so that can I transfer those skills into FSX so I can make more realistic flights and I know have an actual instructor teach me with a hands on approach would be the best way to learn.

I'd see it the other way around...........I'd learn to navigate and somewhat fly the plane so I could transfer those skills into a real simulator experience. Do keep in mind that it would take more than several hours of instruction and time in the cockpit of any particular aircraft to learn anything. I reckon that 5 hours in a real 737 simulator would probably amount to taking cues from the flight director to control attitude and controlling airspeed, or things along that line. A lot of the learning is actually done on desktops, books/manuals and posters, or flightdeck layouts that are pretty much posters.

Anaheim eh? Place where Disneyland resides. Interesting they'd have that over there.

How much was it that they'd charge for getting into something like that?

Disregard that question. I found their webpage: http://www.flightdeck1.com/

Seems cheaper to go try and fly an F-16. I bet flying Falcon 4.0 would come in handy in using that thing.(Particularly if you've ever flown in the moded versions as those are simulated to start like the real thing.)
