OK, first of all a 350 Mhz computer is underpowered for FS2002. I'd look into upgrading at least your motherboard, processor, and RAM before you buy FS2002 for your 350 Mhz PC. Running FS2002 in that state would be a waste of time and money that would be better saved towards a better processor, motherboard, and more RAM. I know this because I'm running FS2k2 on medium settings on a 500 Mhz machine and I'm only getting 10-12 FPS on average. I'm not saying it won't run, but you'd have to turn down many of FS2002's special features, so there's really no point.

I agree. FS2002 has so many ways to vary performance with sliders provided for many features. You need to be able to run most of these sliders at least mid-way or higher to really "see" the beauty of FS2002.

    Plan an upgrade.

CPU, as fast as you can afford to buy, but at least 1.4 or better. Motherboard with at least 266 front side bus that uses DDR RAM modules. DDR Ram size to at least 256 meg of ram.

The above upgrade is a good "minimum" level that will make FS2002 enjoyable, but not as plush as the faster 2Mhz processors with 512mb DDR RAM KT333 systems.

CPU speed, motherboard/chipset, and RAM capacity is only half the equation. The other half is the video specs. Geforce TI 4x00 video boards are a favorite of many simmers. A "minimum" level that would be a simular match to the above system "minimum" would be a Geforce 3 TI board with 32 mb.

If you enjoy FS2000 on your system, stick with it and save your money for a significant system upgrade. FS2002 may run on your present machine, but I think you would be disappointed.

Just my opinion based on numerous post and personal experience.
