    Default Missing Scenery Object

After updating the excellent Swiss airport scenery (Files swiss*.zip) with the v4.1 version, I receive a missing scenery object error at Geneva airport only. Is there any way to work out exactly what is missing? I temporarily disabled the static scenery objects by renaming the LSGGSTAT and STAT2 files, without any change. Once past the error message, I cant't detect anything missing, though something must be. The error returns whenever I get very close to Geneva after flying out.

The documentation indicates that all Airport, VOD, Nova, Nova Gold, trees_0.zip, trees_2.zip and trees_2u.zip are needed. I found all but one of these on various sites, including fsnova. I found "trees2.zip" on avsim.com, but have not been able to find a trees_2.zip file anywhere, including using various search engines. This might therefore be the problem. Any suggestions?

    Did you get treesfix.zip?
    Download from flightsim.com
    Hope this helps

    Unfortunately, treesfix is also installed.

    Momo,

    Try this link.
    http://www.flightxpress.de/files/0502/files0502.html

Under scenery go to #3 in the list 'Schweizer Freeware Airports'. There you'll find links to the required files.
I'll have to install them again myself - I also have missing scenery objects.

    Sorry Momo

Please disregard my previous message. I just finished re-installing all required files and still have a missing object (in Geneva).
    I'll do some more investigation...

    Daniel,

Are you Daniel G., the author, with whom I have been having the correspondence in French?

YES and no. I am 'a' Daniel G., but not THE Daniel 'G' I think you're thinking of - Daniel Gauthier, I guess.
It's just coincidence my family name starts with a G as well (and my french knowledges are rather poor - I have to admit). Jusqu'à aujourdhui je rencontre le problème avec les 'textures' qui manquent au scènes. Peut-être tu pourrais m'aider?
I did a complete re-install of FS2k2 after a serious (self-inflicted) computer problem (my first-ever format :C). On the old installation, the suisse-scenery used to run absolutely flawlessly. I don't know. Just wonder, what the real-world Swiss pilots do on approach to Geneva - and other locations, when there's a sudden blue-screen coming up - scenery object missing :-)
On the other hand I simply don't have enough time right now to spend for flightsimming. I'm happy enough to do a nice approach or two before bedtime nowadays.
Anyway - take care and enjoy your flights.

    Daniel, LSZH
