Thread: Cabin/crew announcemnts and FSX

  1. Default Cabin/crew announcemnts and FSX

Hi all, I was wondering if the assembled multitude 1) Flies with any cabin/crew announcement software? 2)If so, which are the best to run in FSX sp1 and 2?
I do have Flight Deck Companion Live! for FSX but really didn't like it due to a number of issues such as limited selection of aircraft and connection problems.
Anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks.

I use the FDSFX panel freeware, made for FS9, but works just fine in FSX. Search the files under FS9 panels. Have it installed in my default 737...

Edit: Here's the file name: fdsfxpnl.zip

Thanks I will try it. I am a little leery about installing some FS9 stuff. I have had corruption issues with some FS9 things. If you say that the program runs fine, I will try it. FS2Crew is too limited. I think you can run it only for specific aircraft is this correct? Thanks again.

Just don't allow overwrite/replace when you install it and it will be fine. IIRC, there are no default files with the same name anyhow...Don

I use FDSFX on my FSX w/acceleration system with no problems. To make it real, I take audio clips from youtube for the airlines and airports I want to simulate and use them within FDSFX. Works great.

I use FS Cabin Crew. Works with any aircraft and there is a free demo available.

FSPassengers also has cabin crew sounds as well as many other features, if you'd like more than just the cabin crew.
I love the smell of napalm on my cornflakes.
