Default Delta Airlines WOA (world of AI) V3 help

Hi guys. Unfortuntly when i was upgrading to Delta from Northwest AI, i got this message saying some aircraft were missing. I want some help with that if possible. I am looking for all the aircraft with the textures it needs so i can get rid of Northwest airlines at my home airport, Minneapoils, because now its all Delta. Can you guys help me find some aircraft?

When you run the WoA Installer for an airline upgrade, it references the file WOAIDATA to know which aircraft from the older version of the package to remove before it installs the repaints for the new version.

For example is you are installing the V3 update of Delta Air Lines - the following aircraft repaints are removed first -

    WoA_AIA_B738%WoA_AIA_B738_DAL-Delta Air Lines_NC
    WoA_AIA_B738%WoA_AIA_B738_DAL-Delta Air Lines

If any of those aircraft/repaints is missing in the old package removal process - you get the message about aircraft missing.

That message has no impact on the installation of the new package repaints.

The main reason someone gets the message about missing aircraft is that they have manually changed some aircraft repaints. Thus their WoA aircraft folders no longer match the information in the WOAIDATA file.

You should use the expert mode of the WoA Installer to remove the Northwest Airlines package. But again - if you have made any manual changes to aircraft or repaints, or modified the traffic file name - the WoA Installer cannot know that and you will have to remove those manually.

The NWA aircraft repaints from the last WoA NWA package which need to be removed are:

    WoA_AIA_B744_PW%WoA_AIA_B744_PW_NWA-Northwest Airlines
    WoA_AIA_B752W_PW%WoA_AIA_B752W_PW_NWA-Northwest Airlines

Did you use the WoA Installer in the Expert Mode to remove the Northwest Airlines package?

If you have NWA traffic from another package, you will likely have to remove that traffic manually.

The easiest way is to find the traffic file and move it out of your FS folder structure to a holding location.

You will still have the AI aircraft/ repaints - but they will not be used.

If you are going to want to have current AI traffic, you have only two options.

    1) Buy a payware AI program and use that. One which is updated frequently.

    2) Learn how to manually install aircraft, repaints and traffic files. How to remove them. It is not difficult, but does take time to learn and understand.
