Cessna 172 .cfg File

greetings,

i installed a damage pack on my secondary fsx computer, and it did something to the .cfg file

i don't have access to the other fsx computer so if someone could give me their .cfg file it would be greatly appreciated

No one is going to send you a file. Violation of the EULA. Run a repair from the Fsx install disc. That will give you the file.

Or recover it from the backup install of a vanilla version that we have advised time, and time, and time, and time again.
To be honest, if you can't recover the original seek a better one.

Rename your FSX folder to something like "Microsoft Flight Simulator X.off" and reinstall FSX into a new FSX folder, add the service packs if applicable, copy it to a removable hard disk, and mark it read only. Now you have a backup system in place for the next time something like this happens. Delete the fresh FSX installation and rename your old one back to "Microsoft Flight Simulator X". Copy the skyhawk's .cfg from the removable drive and you're all fixed.
