It's a bit of a mix. The graphics setup in the first one is better, whereas the processor in the second is the more powerful of the two. For FSX I would definitely go with the second system with its more powerful CPU, although the graphics will hold it back a bit.

"Can someone please tell me which of the 2 laptops would be the better ???????"

#1. You only need one question mark at the end of a sentence.
#2. You need to specify what your laptop is going to be used for. Else we cannot really tell you which is better for your needs.
#3. I would concur that the second laptop would be better for FSX or FS2004. Although I would see if you can get a 64bit version of Win7 on there.

#1 What difference does that make????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
#2 Seeing this is a flightsim.com forum its a really, really good bet the OP is asking which one would be best for flight simming and Loki covered that off.
#3 The specs listed for the HP system says its has Win7 64-bit. A quick Google shows that the Sony model VPCCB37FDB laptop comes with Windows 7 Premium 64-bit.
    Intel i7 930@4.2GHz / Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultima / Gigabyte X58A-UD3R / 6 gb G.Skill DDR3 1600
    60GB Corsair Force GT
    (Win 7 Pro 64-bit) / 120GB OCZ Vertex 2 (FSX) / 600GB WD Velociraptor
    MSI GTX570 OC / X-Fi XTreme Gamer / CM 850Watt / CM Stacker 832 / Acer S211HL / Samsung 215TW

Correct grammar improves logical thinking and also helps to word questions correctly. Incorrect grammar is considered rude by some. It is generally a good idea to be polite when asking for advice. If you need something from other people then the least you can do is ask politely, and precisely. Additionally this is the Hardware forum, he/she could easily be wanting to run X-Plane, Rise of Flight, Take-On Helicopters, Flaming Cliffs, or any of the other products out there. I (perhaps unreasonably) assumed that the OP was young due to his/her grammar and then further generalized (again perhaps unfairly) that young people are interested in blowing stuff up and might well consider Battlefield 3 etc a Flight-Sim because it has aircraft in it. And for all of those games I would be recommending the other Laptop.

And as regards researching products for people offsite, I feel that you are going too far unless the original poster has genuinely hit an impasse in their ability to do their own research, or has politely, specifically and perhaps even apologetically asked a question after doing their own research. I think it would be far more beneficial for the OP if he would, or had, posted what he wants from his product so that one of us can explain IN CONTEXT why one or the other is better. This way our OP first of all gets what he needs, and secondly learns something in the process which will help him out in the future should he come to buy another computer.

I feel that most people would probably agree with me. I feel I should also mention that my previous post was not meant in hostility, so I apologise if that is how it came across.

Peace out chaps, please continue to ask questions johnyyz and if possible be a bit more specific so that you can get exactly what you need.
