I am planning to buy some new aircraft, and want a reliable and attractive sim, but not
one that is complex to use.
Any help with this purchase?
Thanks

Quality Wings 757
You pretty much picked the CLS lineup, except the 737. Great looking, fly well and all have the lite FMC's that does not need a lot of input.
I've done some research and came up with these:
• Quality Wings 757
• Simshack.net - A320 Jetliner
• CLS - Airbus A330/A340
• Pilot in Command 737- Wilco
• FeelThere LE: Phenom 100 by Embraer
• Flight1 - iFly Jets: 737NG X
• PMDG
-------
- 737 NGX
- 747-400 Version X
- Beechcraft 1900D
Any comments on these choices?
Since you say you don't want anything too 'complex', it's hard to pin down what you are looking for, so here's my take.....
• Quality Wings 757..........Prefect, 'Complexity Simplified" is their tagline..good systems and performance, full VC and 2D panels, good on frames
• Simshack.net - A320 Jetliner...no idea but no Airbus is modeled correctly for FSX
• CLS - Airbus A330/A340...same as above
• Pilot in Command 737- Wilco .... problems with Win7 and the update costs extra
• FeelThere LE: Phenom 100 by Embraer....ok but has issues and the FMC is missing a lot as id the G1000
• Flight1 - iFly Jets: 737NG X...very good but complex
• PMDG..same as IFly
-------
- 737 NGX
- 747-400 Version X
- Beechcraft 1900D...port over from FS9...problem with prop's texture
Except for Simshack and CLS I have all these planes and I spend 90% of my time in the QW 757, it simply can't be beat for money vs product. It's complex enough to keep you interested but simple enough you don't have to spend 20 minutes getting it ready. Go to their website and get the manual, it's available and will give you insight to what it does. It also has well over 125 liveries and they are all beautifull, some in HD.
You didn't list a 757, but if you're interested, the free one from Justflight is pretty dam good......
Dell XPS X8300 Intel core i7-2600(3.4 GHZ,8 MB Cache) 8 GB memory 1.5 TB HDD 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 6770 graphics card Windows 7
indeed, they are expensive... but most definetly worth the price.
PMDG makes great planes, complex but trust me, its not hard to learn about the systems.
Happy Christmas!

payware addons are tough to operate. my goodness, sometimes you spend hours just trying to get the fuel pumping to the engines and more hours getting the FMC up. however having said that, they are absolute quality graphically. I'd go PMDG for 737 and 747, Level-D for 767 and CLS for A340, however if you want free ones that are easier to use, I'd go iFly for 747, default for 737, POSKY for 767 and Thomas Ruth for A340. the JustFlight 757 is quality for a free bird, so i'd definitely get that. hope that helps, merry Christmas
Microsoft Flight? It is free, it isn't complex, in fact it is crap!
