Default How come mesh scenry files have overlapping coordinates?

I was viewing the individual .bgl files inside a mesh scenery download before I downloaded it, and I noticed something kind of odd. The latitude/longitude coordinates of each .bgl don't just touch up against each other... but they actually overlap and share some territory with one another.

Why is this? Is there a reason for the files to overlap when the author compiled the scenery area?

    Thanks,

So that the tiles blend together nicely.
    Thanks,

Well alright then.... that makes sense. Thanks for confirming that these didn't represent duplicate files, but rather... the author intentionally meant to do it. -- John
