  1. Exclamation FSX and Autodesk Inventor

Is it possible to create a model for FSX using Autodesk inventor? I know there has to be a model converter to do this, but I can't seem to find one. Help!!!

I know there is .ipt, .iam, but I have not tried to export it as any other format. (I have tried .mdl, to no avail obviously). I'll get back to you on that tomorrow.

Yes. I tried this in Inventor '12. I dunno with older version('11,'10, or ipart'09), You need someone who owned a 2012 3dsmax design. I accidentaly try my buggy car frame ipart imported in my friend's max'12. No problem with max'12 to import ipart. The good news is, max'12 can export the file to obj. files. You can open obj. in MCX(Model Converter X which you can found in fsdeveloper.com). If you want to edit in gmax, simply export your work to 3ds(from MCX)and then import to gmax scene. Hope this help.
