    Question Stuttering

    Hi,

I get GREAT frames in FS9 (100+) but it seems to change a lot causing the simulator to look 'stuttering' at certain points.
I don't know if the FS9 frame limiter would work or if I would need an external program or even some fs9.CFG tweaks?

    Thanks in advance!

Why not give it a try? Set the frame limit to 24 or something like that in your graphics settings and see if it helps.

Stutters come for many reasons including loading AI and/or scenery textures, etc. But limiting the frames may help and its really cheap to give it a try.

You limit your frames within FS9 own settings .Don't no anything about any frame limiter stuff within my own Nvidea card.

PS i have my frames set at twenty within FS9 and that is absolutely fine for me .I don't need to constantly check frame rates I know roughly what they are by looking at how the sim is performing.

Your eye cannot process more then about 30 frames a sec anyway. I always lock mine about 25. Also, make sure all your other background programs are off, such as virus and spyware scan. They take a big bite out of your resources.
