One More Thing I Like About The Flightsim Forums

I like the way a thread is left online even after it has been closed, particularly if it contains plenty of technical information. That way, we are able to peruse all posts and pick up information that we (I) might never have otherwise even considered. It is a very helpful feature that reinforces the overall theme of helpfulness of the flightsim.com forums.

Note: please be sure to subscribe to threads in which you participate. That way you'll be notified any time in the future when additional posts are made to that thread. I had never really thought much about this until tonight when I received an email from flightsim.com forums with pertinent links that led me straight back to a thread which I had completely forgotten (but sorely needed!). Even though the thread was closed this time last year, there it was--with all posts and all very good information! With a few clicks, I had my source and could be on my way!
