    Default Bad looking landing lights.

    Okay, this is the problem:
I play fs2002 on an old laptop (Toshiba Satellite, 192 mbram, Intel Pentium III 446mhz, 8 mb 3D graphics, windows xp), and i have a problem with landing lights. This is how it looks:

The upper screenshot was taken in an ACER aspire one d255 (1 gb/ram, Intel Atom 1.66 ghz, integrated graphics). In this netbook, the problem dosent exists. So, playing in the toshiba, i cant use any ldg or taxi lights, because they dont improve visibility, they make the runway invisible. And what is even worst, the ai traffic always use ldg lights, so even when I turn them off, I still dont see anything when an ai aircraft is close.

My question is: is there a way I can fix this problem? Or the only solution is to delete the file containing the ldg lights, what would partialy help? If that is the case, what file i need to delete or modyfie?

    Thanks for helping.

I still accept suggestions I found out how to turn off the lights, but that doesnt resolve the problem.

No easy solution to removing those ugly triangle light effects as they are built into each aircraft model.
I know you can turn off aircraft lighting in the sim, but that disables all the aircraft lights.... so I proceeded with my solution.

I edited all my AI aircraft models and a few user aircraft in FS2004. The AI models are from FS2002 times, so this should work in FS2002 as well..

See the before and after effects on the default B737-400 in FS2004 here:

Follow the link in the youtube video how I did it... (lots of work)

You know what, I think the problem is in my graphics card. Not only the landing lights are incorrectly displayed, but I also dont have any lights, the windows and logo of the ai aircraft is not displayed. I only have NAV, BEACON and STROBE. And of course, panel and vc light. But the "L" texture almost doesnt exist.
