Thread: Zinertek Night Environment Problem

    Default Zinertek Night Environment Problem

I have installed, uninstalled, and re-installed night environment for the 50th time now. All I get is new roads at night, yet everything else remains exactly the same.
I tried in various parts of the world. I have Ultimate terrain europe, and I can see any night environment texture there at all. Yet they claim i can use em with UT.

I have changed the security settings for the fs2004 files so they can be modified by me. Ran the exe as admin. Uninstalled and reinstalled the textures. Not working, at all.

I want to change the directory too, so they all get dumped into a folder, so I can manually put them in.
But the "browse" button isnt working. And I cant manually type in the directory during installation.

I have Night Environment but deinstalled it because I'm really quite happy with the night textures of their Ground Environment 6, which I also own. One less thing to have to manage.

As for texture directories, I keep a backup copy of the original unmodified texture folder. When I want to compose a new texture set I put the backup copy in service in place of what I had been running, make the texture changes, then copy the new version of the texture folder to yet another backup folder. So I get the same effect you want, but by a different method that doesn't stress anybody's installers.
