Thread: X-plane on a 1.6ghz processor

    Default X-plane on a 1.6ghz processor

Is anyone running the latest version 9 on a slower than 2 ghz processor?

Their website recommends at least 2 GHZ. But I only have a 1.6ghz processor (dual core).

I don't feel like buying a whole bunch of new hardware to use this thing.

So, if anyone is using it on a slower then 2ghz machine, is it still reasonable?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You'll be OK, but you might need to turn down some settings.
    Thanks,

    Jim
