2nd Crash in 24hrs at a Spectator Event.

Terrible news again. According to officials at the Martinsburg WV "Thunder Over the Blue Ridge" a T-28 crashed about 2:30PM Saturday.
The pilot, as yet unidentified, was killed instantly and was the only casualty.

Thoughts with the injured and relatives at Reno, and with the family and teammates of the Horsemen pilot in WV. Tragic weekend for aviation, and for airshow performances. This is what happens (reno) when the aircraft are allowed to get too close to the crowd sadly... Its not the first time an aircraft has hit spectators. Remember one in the UK, where a spitfire pilot had to actually put his nose down, and drive his plane into the deck, to avoid killing spectators... noble man.

I wonder what will come out of the NTSB reports... I do pray that they don't make a kneejerk reaction to apease the media attention.
