Thread: Tail Strike Sparks

    Default Tail Strike Sparks

    How do you get rid of the darn thing. Changing aircraft won't do. Even changing to a no motor aircraft. Parking in fuel station won't do either. Any suggestions other than shutting down fs and restarting.

    Good one Bob!
    You don't tell us what precluded the problem! New, old, plane(s) scenery....
    Just guessing here, but, if it is damage related, try assigning a Button/Key to Aircraft (reload) and repair and refuel. That should reset any damage...Don

    Ditto the aircraft reload - that always stops my aircraft from 'dragging around' snow clouds for a previous landing.
    However, I really don't tolerate those silly looking sparks. They are immediately removed from any new aircraft thusly

    concrete=fx_dummy // fx_sparks

    fx_dummy is a 'blank' effect that can be use to replace any effect name, water, wakes, smoke or "Sparks"

    Thanks for your help. It happened when I was flying in hurricane Irene with 70 knots wind. On pushback as the tug began the turn, the nose of the aircraft lifted and struck the tail. Reloading doesn't help neither does swithching aircraft even to the sailplane. It remains with everything.

    In previous versions parking in the fuel box did not only refuel but repaired all damages.

    Some models require a re-start of FS.
    Thanks,

    Didn't mean to be "rude" it just seemed to be the correct answer with information given.
    Have a nice evening.
