Thread: ILS approach with the CLS A340-300

  1. Default ILS approach with the CLS A340-300

    Hi

I just got the A340-300 from CLS and I am flying this a lot to get used to that aircraft.
Does anybody know how to change the backcourse when making an ILS approach?
I switched the NAV1 frequency for the runway I have to approach, but usually (at B737 and so on) I also have to change the backcourse for the runway heading. On the A340 I can't find a knob or anything for that.
Anybody who can help me? Or give me tips for a successful ILS approach with the A340?

    Thanks

Instead of using back course why not just "flip" the course.
Course can be adjusted in the coms/radio pannel. (just press the NAV button there to make the knobs change course instead of radio frequency).
