I'm running FSX within a Phenom II X4 965 (3.4GHz) using 8GB of DDR3 RAM and an EVGA GeForce GTX550Ti over Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Scenery is Tileproxy over higher res mesh, with Wx by REX

    Hey, thanks Richard.
It's tedious, but I think it's worth it.

I'm running a pretty modest set up. Pentium E5200 Dual-Core 2.5GHZ bumped to 3.2GHZ, ATI HD3850 512MB Video, 4GB RAM running on XP. Obviously I run FS somewhat lean, but the important part here is that I can fly my plane comfortably at a very smooth 25fps using 2048 textures. I have also run it with 4096, but they take a while to load! I have some other people that have been flying it as well with no complaints about performance so far.

That was my next question. What are your settings at?
Forgive me for the questions, but I have a horrid time running FSX at any respectable settings, and if I can hit 25fps on any payware add on with my sliders set to about medium, I would be VERY happy.
