Can't download real world weather !

I always fly with weather setting Real World Weather (updated every 15 minuets).
Since yesterday each time I'm trying to download real weather,(and I tried it at different airports in different country's) I get an error massage saying:

"An error occurred while downloading Real-World Weather. Please check your INTERNET connection and configuration, and try again."

Well I checked, and I cant see anything out of the ordinary, I can surf on the INTERNET, send and receive e-mails, I tried disabling firewall, nothing helps

Can anyone help ??

Not sure what version of Windows you are using, but you may want to check your Windows firewall to make sure that FS is included in the list of programs that are allowed to access the internet. This may be what is blocking FS from getting it's real world weather updates.

I've had that message. But not since I've been talking on this forum (almost a year). I'd say that if it is what I suspect it might be, everybody would be squawking about it at the same time; namely, that Jeppeson may have gone down briefly. I have had the experience at least a few times and I always wrote it off to that. It always came back after a few hours or maybe a day.

If it isn't Mr. Wheeler's theory, and nobody else comes up with anything, pretend it didn't happen and wait a while. I'm posting this about 4 hours behind you, I just checked mime and it's OK.

The thing I have found out about things I've posted on this forum is, and I'm sure this will surprise you, sometimes I'm not right. (LOL)

Hi,

There apparently was an interruption in receiving the weather data yesterday. I fly with real world weather enabled and also got the message. I was in and out of FSX most of the day and only received it once. When I had dialup I'd often forget to go online and when I got the message I'd have to quit FSX, restart, and all would be okay. I found that within FSX, if I went to whatever that page is called where you go to the MS site it would connect without having to restart.
Bottom line: Once FSX doesn't find the weather info you'll either have to go to the MS site or restart for it to start looking again.

Hi Again.

Its been more then a week now, since I submittet this thread, and I am sorry to say that whatever I tryed did not help .
One thing dose work is when I connect to a multypleyer session with online weather updated, then in some places I get connection to the online weather, and other places not and I'm beeing thrown out of the session

..

Has anyone els experianced some thing of that kinde?
